Details: Department of Hospital Administration and Management organized a one day visit to “Capitol Hospital, Jalandhar” for the students. The visit was very helpful for the practical exposure of the students.

“Visit to Dental Clinic, DSCW”

The students of the department visited Dental Clinic, DSCW on 28.01.19. Emphasis was given on Scaling, Cleansing and Dental Hygiene. It was an enriching experience for the students and they were enlightened regarding oral hygiene and model demonstrations.

Celebration of "Maat Pita Santaan Diwas"

 

“Celebration of Maat Pita Santaan Diwas”

The Department of Hospital Administration & Management celebrated Maat Pita Santan Diwas on 24.01.19. Emphasis was given on Parent – child relationship.

The program started with recitation of bhajan “Shraddha bhajan Maat Pitaji” by students expressing their gratitude towards their parents. It was followed by speech delivered by some of the students who expressed their gratitude, love and affection that they have for their parents. Charts and songs were also prepared by the students.

“Seminar on Go Green”

 A Seminar on Go Green was organized by Department of Hospital Administration & Management in collaboration with Department of  NCC/NSS on 14.01.19.

Emphasis was given on Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Knowledge was imparted regarding healthy and hygienic food with nutritive value and also students were made aware of processed food and packaged food.

“Educational Talk on Personal Hygiene”

Educational Talk on Personal Hygiene was organized by Department of Hospital Administration & Management in collaboration with Department of NSS/NCC. Students were made aware of their personal hygiene and sanitation and contribution towards the society.   Hygiene and grooming tips were given and also education was imparted on proper disposal of sanitary napkins.

Workshop on "Diabetes : Causes & Prevention"

“Diabetes Causes & Prevention”

The Department of Hospital Administration & Management organized a workshop on Diabetes Causes and Prevention on 14.11.18. Emphasis was given on Diabetes, its causes and preventive measures. Students participated in Poster Making and Rangoli Competition. They also gave presentations and detailed demonstrations on causative agents of Diabetes. Complete session was interactive in which students asked their doubts. They also provided their suggestions and feedback.

Drug Awareness Campaign

 

“DRUG AWARENESS CAMPAIGN”

Department of Hospital Administration and Management has organized an “Drug Awareness Campaign” for the students. Drug Menace is talk of the day. It is more common among youngsters and hence Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur and the department is focusing on awaring our youth about the ill-effects of drugs. This event was very helpful for awaring students  about the evil effects of drug addiction. Students were divided into twelve groups. One student from each group presented their views on drug abuse, meaning, causes and prevention.
